First, open up the Settings app. Second, locate the iPod tab on the right. There should be an EQ section under the iPod tab. Finally, tap on the EQ and change it to the category that best fits your musical genre.

While a majority of the world uses the Gregorian calendar (as the iPad comes pre-set to), you can also change to view the Japanese or Buddhist calendar, too. Simply go to Settings -> General -> International -> Calendar, and choose which type of calendar you want to set your iPad to.
